Binding wire!

Well, this is my first time at blogging… have never got into this league before and have always wondered what it was all about. It all began from the time I started reading a dear friend’s blog and I found it to be interesting... both the blog as well as the idea of blogging that is. And so here I am trying my hand at it. I really don't know where to start from... or how. So to begin with, maybe I can touch upon yesterday's event during which I almost ran the risk of getting wired!
It was a beautiful Sunday… the weather was at its best… something I haven’t experienced in a long time. And there were two important families bonding over lunch. I have always believed that there is always a purpose behind each day that unfolds and yesterday turned out to be really important for me… and my dearest. We sought to find the "binding wire" between our families (who are incidentally ‘heterogeneous’ -to say the least- in their beliefs and out look towards life). Religion does have a big role to play I guess, but we did play it neutral to our little tin gods. The fall out of the event is likely to emerge soon but by the looks of it, they seemed to have bonded pretty well as everyone ended up having a good time.
How… or why… is religion so important in a relationship?

hi, Thanks for your little tots and being the first to post a comment on my blog! :-) well, i totally agree with you that it is the core values that makes a good relationship and willingness to accept each other. I also, feel strongly that we need to strike a balance and frame a better definition to retain these values and change for the better for tomorrow!

Welcome to the world of blogging! As for your post. I think religion DOES play a role depending on the extent to which it has been rubbed off onto you by your upbringing :-)

Hmmm... Interesting! How many of them today follow stringently? They all tend to falter to their convenience at some point of their life rite? So at a macro level, don't you feel that a mélange of rite chemistry, core values (which is simple and basic across the human race) and mutual respect for each other be the essence for healthy souls to bond and sustain? :-)
